Cowl Neck Dress

A couple of days ago I wrote a post about transitioning from summer to fall with your wardrobe and how difficult it can be in the Southern heat. I found another solution with this super comfy cowl neck shift dress.. and bonus: it has pockets!

My friend Katie was able to capture these pics in front of an old soda factory a few blocks up from my apartment. How cool is this authentic, vintage back drop?!

Dress: Nordstrom, $22 (similar, similar, similar) *they just marked this dress down so sizes are limited and going quickly!
Bag: COACH, gift (similar for $24, similar)
Shoes: Lucky Brand, $138 –I got these during the Nordstrom sale so the price went up but you can get them at Dillard’s for $99 or shop more affordable options: (similar, similar)
Earrings: Kendra Scott, $35 from #NSALE (similar $14, similar)
Necklace: Kendra Scott, $75 from #NSALE (similar, similar)
Watch: Nixon, $200 –also got this from #NSALE shop more affordable options here: (similar, almost identical for $35)

As usual I had so much fun in this dress! Katie and I went out to dinner after and it was just SO comfortable. The pockets were also a huge plus! Once it cooled off at night I was able to throw on my jean jacket to stay warm. These shoes were also super comfy -I loved the height because they weren’t too high, so I was able to walk all around the city without my feet killing me. I also love this COACH bag and I was so happy to get it as a birthday gift. I had been eyeing this similar Tory Burch bag for a while but was never going to bring myself to actually pay the $400+ price!

I can’t wait to wear this outfit again once it gets a little cooler with a white sweater, navy tights and some over the knee boots! Who else is enjoying this cooler fall weather?!

Hope everyone enjoys their Monday and has a fabulous week!
